Media Reviews
Zita shows you how preparing for pregnancy and good nutrition is one of the most important investments you can make towards the health of your baby. I love to cook and the recipes in this book are great.
- Kate Winslet
Fertility guru Zita West has helped some very A-list mamas over her 36-year career as a midwife, including Kate Winslet and Gwyneth Paltrow. Out of her central London clinic, West boosts chances of conception through medicine and also by improving her clients' overall health. And for those of us who can't afford her pricey private fees, the good news is that her new cookbook, Eat Yourself Pregnant, provides a snapshot of her philosophies as well as a comprehensive look at what you should eat - and avoid - to boost your fertility.

Author's Bio
Zita West, the UK's trusted expert on fertility, pregnancy and birth and a pioneer in the field of fertility, has been involved in fertility and pregnancy for over 25 years, as a midwife, a nutritional advisor, an acupuncturist and as an author and consultant. Over that time thousands of couples have come to her for advice on how to get into optimum shape for all the vital stages of childbirth. Zita is acknowledged as one of Europe's leading experts on how each of us can improve our prospects at each key stage of the reproductive process through natural means or, if necessary, through medical intervention. Zita was one of the first to offer acupuncture to pregnant women (back in the late Eighties) for symptoms such as morning sickness. She set up an NHS/alternative therapy clinic for pregnant women, in Warwick. But the "bureaucracy" of the NHS drove her away and eventually she set up her own, private fertility and pregnancy clinic. Twenty years on she employs 25 staff, including medical specialists, out of offices near Harley Street. She is the mother of two children.www.zitawest.com The author lives in UK.
