Description

The fifth story in the fantastically fun, magical cycling adventure series from Sir Chris Hoy.

The Hercules' Hopefuls are going to the Nationals, and not even Wallace's Winners competing too can wipe the smiles off their faces. But then disaster strikes in training. To stand a chance of beating the Velociraptors, the terrifying all-girls speed squad, Wesley and Fergus will need to work together. It's Fergus's biggest challenge yet - well, apart from breaking Dad out of the Dungeon of Despair in Nevermore, that is . . .
Written with award-winning author Joanna Nadin, with fantastic illustrations from Clare Elsom.

'Sir Chris has a genuine and warm manner about him that endeared him to his young audience here. What's more his messages of the importance of team work, determination and dedication are surely excellent ones for this new generation that he is trying to reach. If you have youngsters that you'd like to inspire with cycling, get into reading or even both, Flying Fergus could well be the way to do it.' * Ride Velo *
'This is a hugely relevant read for everyone, and I do hope Chris and Jo will pair up in the future again as they make a great writing duo, especially with Clare's illustrations!' * Nayu’s Reading Corner *
