WENDY SCASE is Emeritus Geoffrey Shepherd Professor of Medieval English Literature at the University of Birmingham. EMILY DOLMANS is a Lecturer in Medieval Literature at the University of East Anglia. PHILIP KNOX is Associate Professor in the Faculty of English at the University of Cambridge.
