Never mistake law for justice

It's nearly Christmas and the streets of Bristol have a killer on them. The police have no clues as to who this person may be. The media have coined them 'The Ghost'. They take their victim's life with military-like precision and then seemingly disappears into the night.

DCI Harry Bowe and his team are up against it as they need to get a break in the case and attain the killer's identity fast. The powers above are breathing down their neck.

The problem for Bowe is that all the killings have been of criminals. But nothing links these people, except the fact that they were lowlifes who flaunted the law and thought they were above it.

Until now.

The bottom line is a vigilante has taken the law into their own hands and the press and media are getting ready for a field day.

As the murders increase, so does the pressure on DCI Bowe to deliver.

But it's not only the police who want to catch this killer. Charlie Rawlings, a local gangster, can't have random murders on his patch. He has an important deal coming down and the last thing he needs is a crazed killer spoiling things, so he decides to do what the police are failing to do and find this person for himself.

But in Rawling's case, when he finds them, he will kill them.

But not only is this killer elusive, they're also extremely dangerous and determined to carry on their campaign of murder.

They will not be stopped.
