Media Reviews
"Congratulations on your book! I found it entertaining and action-packed, and was excited to find out where it would go next. Your characters are well-written and feel like individuals with their own motivations and personalities. I thought the narrative was well-structured, with the origin story section flashing forward to the present day, and the 'whodunnit' mystery on island will keep the reader guessing." Polly Warren, Editor
Author's Bio
'Blood Tracks' is Kevin's sixth work of fiction. His first novel was 'Battlescars' (2018), where he introduced readers to the character of Tony Slade. His second novel, 'No Hiding Place' (2019) continued the story. 'Last Stand' (2020) gives us a trilogy of Slade adventures. 'Killing Time' (2021) then introduces the reader to a new character of Kevin's - ex-policeman turned antiques dealer, Joe Regan. 'A Change of Heart' (2022) brings you a different story involving the intertwined lives of Simon Winter and Eddie Prince. As well as being an author, Kevin is a globally renowned and respected martial artist. He has trained and taught for 46 years at present. He holds the rank of 8th Dan in Japanese Jujutsu. He is also a retired MMA cage fighter. While training, he started to draft articles for martial arts magazines, which spurred him on to write a series of self-defence and combative instructional books. In 2017, he published his autobiography, 'When We Were Warriors'. But his real passion is to write fiction. Kevin lives in Bristol, UK, with his wife, Tina and he is a father and grandfather. He is now semi-retired from teaching martial arts and spends his leisure time reading, writing, playing guitar, going to the gym, and travelling. Kevin is on Facebook and has a group specifically for his writing and books called 'Kevin O'Hagan's reading corner'.
