Description

The narrative of this book looks back over key life lessons for the Author, and look forward to challenges ahead, pulling on his experiences both personally and professionally. It begins with the story of the Author's late diagnosis for ADHD: what that's meant for him, how he's adapted to that diagnosis, and any adjustments to life he's made accordingly (or not). Chapter by chapter, he reflects on his childhood and education, his relationships, his experience of reality TV, lessons learnt in the emergency room, his grief at his brother's untimely death, his successful journey into sobriety, other areas of his work that have altered both his life view and direction and the impact on his confidence and resilience.

While there will be significant underlying takeaway across many culturally relevant topics such as social anxiety, masking, dopamine, imposter syndrome, self-compassion, anger, and addiction - that readers may apply to their own lives.
This book is positioned as a memoir rather than a self-help guide.
