Author's Bio

Jane Johnston is a Reader in Education at Bishop Grosseteste University, Lincoln. She coordinates the international emergent science research network and is co-editor of the Journal of Emergent Science and coordinator for the Early Years special interest group of ESERA (European Science Education research Association). She has worked as a primary classroom practitioner, working with children from 5-11 years of age, and as subject leader and programme leader in primary science education and early childhood studies.
