Virginia Miller's first children's book, Squeak-a-lot (9780744530476) written by Martin Waddell, was runner-up for the 1991 Mother Goose Award. She has since illustrated Sailor Bear (9781844288106), Small Bear Lost Kate's Giants and Say Please! and several other stories about the bears Bartholomew and George, as well as a novelty book, Where Is Little Black Kitten (9780744588286). She lives in Bradford-on-Avon.
