Virginia Miller, who also publishes under the name Virginia Austin, has also written "Squeak-a-lot", which was runner-up for the Mother Goose Award in 1991. She has since illustrated "Sailor Bear" and her own story "Say Please!", and two more stories about Bartholomew and George, "On Your Potty" and "Eat Your Dinner!"
