Author's Bio

Smriti Halls, published in the US as Smriti Prasadam-Halls, is the author of the Publishers Weekly number one bestseller I Love You Night and Day, illustrated by Alison Brown. Her other titles include the critically acclaimed Rain Before Rainbows, The Way of the Wolf, and I’m Sticking With You. The Little Island, illustrated by Robert Starling and described by Axel Scheffler as “Animal Farm for our time…, was named as a Sunday Times Best Children’s Book 2019, a Big Issue Kids’ Book of the Year 2019, and is currently shortlisted for the 2020 Teach Primary Awards and the 2020 Little Rebels Award. Ella Okstad is an illustrator based in based in Trondheim, Norway.
