Author's Bio

Julia Donaldson, the 2011–2013 Children's Laureate, is the author of many of the world's best-loved picture books. Among her acclaimed titles are The Gruffalo, Room on the Broom, What the Ladybird Heard, Stick Man, Zog, The Smeds and the Smoos, Spinderella, Follow the Swallow and Night Monkey, Day Monkey. Her books have sold over 45 million copies and been translated into 75 languages.

Sebastian Braun studied fine and applied arts at Strasbourg University. He moved to London in 2000 and since then has been working exclusively on children’s picture books, having been published by Orchard, Walker, Campbell, HarperCollins and Puffin.
