Media Reviews
The Politics of Group Rights should become one of the most authoritative books on the general theory of group rights. Its theoretical reflections, moreover, lead to detailed and clear analyses of the situation prevailing in Sweden, Turkey, the Balkans, Algeria, Nigeria, Pakistan, and India. It is a book that I will recommend to my students and to policy makers dealing with these questions. For me it opens up the whole question of Multiculturalism in a new way. -- John Rex, Professor Emeritus, University of Warwick
A rich and fascinating study. This book combines theoretical overviews with enormous range, as it judiciously examines the question of group rights in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. It will be an essential text for all students of minority rights and ethnic conflict. -- John Hutchinson, Professor, London School of Economics
