Description

150 simple and sincere prayers for a child to treasure. Beautifully illustrated by Allison Jay, with prayers specially written and selected for children up to age 8, making the book an ideal gift for religious occasions from a baby's baptism to a child's first communion. This collection of prayers will support children through sad and joyful times, help them to pray about their everyday activities throughout the year and includes prayers from the Bible. There are prayers to be said first thing in the morning, out and about during the day and at bedtime in the evening. These simple but memorable prayers offer comfort and peace, and thoughtfulness about the world, animals, family and friends and themselves. This much-loved prayer book has been a beautiful and treasured gift for generations of children for more than twenty years.
