Author's Bio
Sayed Ahmed (b. 1988) is a practising architect and academic from Narayanganj. He graduated from the architecture department at SUST in 2012 with a first-class degree. He was lecturer in the department of architecture at Bangladesh University, Dhaka from 2012 to 2015. He obtained his master’s degree in architectural heritage and conservation from Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, known for its worldfamous campus at Bauhaus, Dessau in Germany. Sayed specializes in art history, design, cultural studies, philosophy of art, architectural history, urban collective memory, climate and the environment, housing, and vernacular architecture.
