The Pullpots visit Bhangraland is part of the Vidya Reading Scheme culture collection, which introduces children to the Panjabi language and culture with help from The Pullpots.

Kiran Lyall is a children's book author, Panjabi tutor and voice-over artist. Encouraged by her love of the Panjabi language and culture, Kiran has developed a range of books which include the Have Fun With Panjabi series, My First Panjabi Alphabet and The Vidya Reading Scheme. Kiran also writes plays and songs, both in Panjabi and English, which are brought to life in her Panjabi lessons, Funjabi Tuition.
