Media Reviews
"This book not encourages creativity but also empowers children to contribute to a kinder, greener planet. Highly recommended."
* School Reading List *"This is the first time I have seen a spread about the importance of inclusive literature for everyone’s mental health... in this book, Strick and Antony have consciously drawn attention to what children can do if they are worried or experiencing negative emotions advising they talk to an adult, who will be able to help."
* Books for Keeps *"This is a book that evokes discussion. Children will all have different experiences and ideas and many classroom or group discussions can be stimulated by reading this book together... We Can! deserves a place in every primary classroom and library!"
* Just Imagine *"Steve Antony’s colourful illustrations reflect a fully diverse group of children, enhancing the inclusivity message…….The actions depicted in the book are practical and achievable – focusing on equal rights, the environment, and respect for others. The literacy message is also highly relevant."
* School Reading List *"In We Can! learn just how much of a difference you can make; we can all make. Want the world greener, healthier, more equal, more loving, more colourful? All these hopes & dreams are closer than you might imagine & you, yes you, & I, we can make the difference, find inspiration on the pages of this wonderful book."
