Media Reviews
Higgins takes the reader on a romp through the naughty bits of ancient verse, from the lewd epigrams of Catullus through to Ovid's instructions to the lover. As she points out...whatever Cosmopolitan might think, Virgil said it better. . . . A funny, gloriously erudite and charming book.--Scotland on Sunday
