Description
From hip bars and clubs in the cities and towns, to out of the way beaches, this guide has all the information on towns and sights in Spain that are off the usual tourist maps. It contains practical advice on exploring the wilds of inland Spain from romantic Extramadura to inland Asturias and Galicia and lively accounts of all the sights from palaces in Andalucia to museums in Cantabria. There are comprehensive listings for major cities - the newest bars, best clubs, finest restaurants and tastiest tapas - and a full fiesta calendar with some truly bizarre traditional fiestas.

Media Reviews
My favorite series is the Handbook series published by Footprint, and I especially recommend the Mexico and Central and South America Handbooks.
Author's Bio
Mary-Ann studied modern languages at St Andrew's University and then spent several years travelling the world. Nowhere has got under her skin in quite the same way as Spain. She has been travelling and writing about Spain for three years now, and finds it as captivating as ever. Andy lives in Northern Spain. The sheer diversity of the region tempted him to put down roots after leaving his native Australia and exploring South America, Asia, North Africa and Europe. He studied archaeology and psychology to which he added a very useful wine and spirit certificate.
