Description
Whether you are outside or in the kitchen, there are few ways of cooking that are as enticing as grilling - the food smells wonderful, it looks great, and the taste is simply superb. Inspired by ingredients and flavours from around the world, the author has produced a collection of 65 recipes that should have you reaching for your tongs. If you don't want to spend too long getting ready, there are simple and speedy dishes like mini-skewered prawn spiedini, seared onion salad, and strawberries and marshmallows on cherry wood spikes. When you have a little more time, chicken satay with hot cashew sambal, sensational Sichuan pork ribs, and chargrilled pineapple with chilli-spiced granita are easy to prepare ahead. Or, if you'd like to cook something really special, try grilled lobster with tangy basil mayonnaise, and Calvados-flamed bananas.

Author's Bio
Growing up in the wilds of Northumberland, England, Linda Tubby has always had a understanding of the importance of fresh ingredients, but it was not until her days as a fashion designer and buyer that she really developed a passion for good food. Through her travels, she sampled the best of the world's cuisines, from simple home-cooked breakfasts in India to the delicacies of Japanese hand-massaged Kobe beef. After taking time off to raise two children, Linda switched careers and started work as a food stylist for books and magazines. She is also now a regular contributor to leading food magazines such as Food and Travel. Her early influences are still apparent in the flair and creativity that she brings to her cooking.
