Media Reviews
'This book makes a compelling case for 'the professional ruin - COUNTRY LIFE 'A spectacular and breathtaking visual history of the most amazing buildings in England' - THE FRINGE 'The lively and succinct text is matched by the superb photographs, nearly all in colour, making this book not only cheap at the price but one to treasure and enjoy.' - YORKSHIRE GAZETTE AND HERALD 'Musson - looks at the way ruins affect us emotionally and imaginatively, and at how the English see themselves and their past... The photographs are superb, taken in all seasons but many in winter when the quality of sunlight can add so much interest. The book is well designed and printed.' - HISTORIC HOUSE MAGAZINE 'Beautifully captures by the lens of Paul Barker.' - COUNTRYMAN MAGAZINE
