A soaring, inventive lift the flap adventure -- Metro
This is a wonderful space adventure, with superbly intricate illustrations by Karl James Mountford... It's highly imaginative and a bit different (in the very best way) and I really enjoyed it and I know space-mad children will too. -- Parents in Touch
Little ones will love joining Jakob on his space voyage beyond the peek-through pages and hidden flaps. Powell-Tuck imbues her tale with the spirit of fun and adventure, a big helping of imagination and plenty of giggles while Mountford's rich and intricately detailed illustrations invite us to step through the book's cut-out cover and into a thrill-packed ride. -- Lancashire Evening Post
I love the retro feel to the glorious illustrations accompanying this intergalactic space adventure. There are also peep-through holes and plenty of flaps to explore as you're reading. -- Library Girl and Book Boy
With stunning illustrations from Karl James Mountford and lift the flaps hiding space creatures, this is a fun book to read and share. This is such a creative book and I enjoyed lifting the flaps, reading the logs and blasting away with Jakob and Granny. -- My Shelves Are Full

Author's Bio
Maudie Powell-Tuck (Author) When not writing, Maudie spends far too much of her time in expensive shops gawping at clothes and glittery things she cannot afford, and dreaming about owning a pug called Stanley. She would love to say that she runs marathons - but that would be a lie. Karl James Mountford (Illustrator) Karl was born in Germany and grew up in various places around the UK. Karl now lives in beautiful Carmarthen, in Wales, and works as an illustrator making picture books and screen prints, always leaving a paper trail of sketches and drawings wherever he goes.
