Description
This is the story of Jonny Wilkinson's life, tracking his incredible ascent from fiercely determined young hopeful to World Cup-winning rugby icon. This book weaves together the testimonies of friends, family, team-mates, opponents, coaches, managers and Wilkinson himself to provide an objective and entertaining account of his life and career. Fully updated to include England's magnificent defence of their World Cup crown in 2007, it highlights just why even the Australians regard Jonny Wilkinson as the finest player of his generation and arguably the greatest kicker in rugby history.
