Author's Bio

Jim Byers runs Edinburgh Music Lovers (EML), a platform and occasional promoter of special events for a community of like- minded music fans. He started his career as a music journalist, first in Edinburgh and later in London, before moving into PR and communications. Aside from EML, Jim is director of the Beeline PR agency.

Jonathan Trew has been writing about music, culture and restaurants since the early 1990s. When not leading tour groups in Edinburgh and Glasgow, he can usually be found at his desk wondering when this internet thing will end.

Fiona Shepherd is an established music journalist who has been attending gigs and writing about the music scene since 1990. She is the chief rock and pop critic of The Scotsman, and also writes for Scotland On Sunday, The List and Edinburgh Festivals magazine.

Alison Stroak is a co-director and co-founder of Glasgow Music City Tours and Edinburgh Music Tours. She has been a bookseller, publisher and editor for over 30 years.
