It's a great book - well structured, well written, full of useful advice and incredibly compassionate. I am absolutely certain that this book will save lives and sanity. Essential reading for any carer, or anyone who may become a carer. Susan Quilliam, relationship psychologist and agony aunt An indispensable guide for carers which also serves as an excellent reference book for students and practitioners across the range of health, care and early years. Author's Bio
Jane Matthews is a former carer and Chair of Milton Keynes Relate. Jane became a carer herself when her uncle was diagnosed with cancer. The lack of resources, support and guidance she experienced, together with her feelings of isolation, led her to write this book to help others who find themselves in a caring role.
