Description
In Writing for Self Discovery, widely published writers Myra Schneider and John Killick begin at the very beginning - by encouraging us to become comfortable with the idea of writing from personal experience, allowing us to express our own emotions on paper. Practical exercises then gently guide the reader towards the production of longer pieces of creative writing - and with them begins a fascinating journey of self discovery. Packed full of exercises, advice and examples of work by professional and amateur writers, here is an expert's guide to using creative writing as a way to fulfil ambition, self discovery. It offers practical techniques and continuous encouragement - a 'must' for any would-be creative writer or anyone interested in really knowing more about themselves.
