Author's Bio
Blythe Lucero, born in 1957, was raised in Berkeley, California and swam competitively for 13 years before finding her calling as a coach. She has worked with both youth and adult swimmers with great success. She currently coaches Berkeley Aquatic Masters, overseeing the training and development of 80 adult swimmers of all ages and levels. She is also a Water Safety Instructor Trainer for the Red Cross. Besides coaching and teaching swimming, she works as a freelance graphic designer. Cornelia Bleul-Gohlke, born in 1966 in Berlin/Germany has been involved in competitive swimming since she was six years old. As a teenager, she was a member of the German National Swim Team and became a 5-time World Champion, holding 2 European records, and most recently 4 American National short course Championship titles as a Masters Swimmer afterwards. She has a PhD in Sport Science and has worked as a teacher and teacher trainer in many schools and sport institutions.
