Media Reviews
This is a fantastic devotional book for those pursuing a deeper and more intimate relationship with God. Pete Hughes, Ordained Pioneer Minister, St Mary's, Bryanston Square, London From North Sound Radio, November 2008 Why not prepare yourself for Christmas one day at a time, starting 1st December, with this book of 'hope-full' daily readings? This is the time of year when most people long for something to lighten their darkness and Mitton's thoughtful writing, focusing as it does on hope, could provide that inner illumination. These devotional, scripture-based pages, usually four a day, point out how we might come closer to God at this season and learn how we could best live for Him in the devastation of our hurting world. Read it to prepare yourself for Advent, or give it as a Christmas gift to be read at any time of year. Reviewed by Betty McKay
