David was born in Liverpool, in 1966. He studied photography in Leeds and then in 1991 set up his own photographic studio working mainly in commercial photography for advertising agencies. His books include the bestselling Ten in a Bed, Teddy Bears, Cinderlily and the ultimate fashion book for fairies - Fairieality, published by Walker Books in 2002. He recently received the Best Book for Babies Award for amazing baby: I Love You, again featuring his unique baby photography. David lives in West Sussex with his wife and daughter Lydia.
