Author's Bio

Corina Fletcher (Author)
Over the past thirty years award-winning paper engineer Corina Fletcher has collaborated with leading designers, authors and illustrators on diverse three-dimensional paper projects. She has over 40 published pop-up books, including work with author-illustrators such as Oliver Jeffers & Lauren Child, and has contributed her expertise to many other projects in areas as wide-ranging as computer gaming, exhibition design, animation and advertising.

Corina studied Graphic Design at Central St Martins School of Art and then completed a Masters in Visual Communication at the Royal College of Art, where she further developed her three-dimensional work. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Brother of the Artworkers Guild.

Britta Teckentrup (Illustrator)
Britta Teckentrup grew up in a town called Wuppertal. She moved to London in 1988 to study illustration and fine art at St Martin's College and the Royal College of Art and ended up staying in England for 17 years. Britta has created over 40 books, translated into 20 different languages. Britta's illustrations have appeared in magazines, on homewares, clothes and packaging. Britta now lives and works in Berlin with her artist husband, son Vincent, and their cat.
