But although Spinach loves adventures, he doesn't much like getting into trouble.

One day, when he stays on a London bus for too long, he gets off at a stop he's never been to before...

Will he be able to find his way home? What adventures will he have? And who will he meet along the way?

Paul Chapman wrote and illustrated his very first Spinach the Green Dog adventure after receiving a green cuddly toy dog in 1975. An architect by training, his interest in architecture has inspired the creativity of his illustrations and interest in travel and photography. He has self-published seven stories about Spinach, as well as a children's novel, other short stories and poetry, two of which have been published in anthologies. He currently leads a creative writing group at a homeless charity in central London, and has also received a number of commissions as an installation artist in Battersea, working with local school children.
