Author's Bio

Wendy Meddour (Author) Wendy Meddour was brought up in the seaside town of Aberystwyth. She loved the sea, but she loved books even more, so she left the seaside to study. After getting her doctorate, Wendy went to teach English Literature at Oxford University. But now she's got the best of both worlds. She lectures, writes and reads her books at a university near the seaside in Devon. Duncan Beedie (Illustrator) Duncan is a children's author and illustrator from Bristol. He has worked on a number of Little Tiger titles, including the bestselling World of Hank series by Maudie Powell-Tuck and the Bush Baby Adventures by Karl Newson. As well as his own book Heavy Metal Badger, which has been nominated for several children's literature awards. When not drawing badgers, bears and bush babies, Duncan likes to get out in the woods or sit in a comfy chair to read ghost stories.
