Author's Bio
Miranda Aldhouse-Green is Emeritus Professor of Archaeology at Cardiff University. Ray Howell is Reader in History and Medieval Archaeology at the University of Wales Newport. He has directed archaeological excavations on Iron Age, Roman and medieval sites in Gwent and has published widely on the history and archaeology of Wales.
