Author's Bio
Miriam Moss was born in England, but grew up in Africa, China and the Middle East. She is the award-winning author of over seventy children's books. She now lives in East Sussex. In 1970, aged 15, she was on a plane that was hijacked and landed in the Jordanian desert. The hostage-takers threatened to blow up the plane, killing all passengers. Eventually, the release of the hostages was negotiated and Miriam was freed. Girl On a Plane is her story, in which she recalls the details of those desperate days. http://www.miriammoss.com
