Author's Bio

Dr Tim Dowley is a historian and a prolific author and editor of Bible resources for adults and children. He holds a bachelor's degree in History and a doctorate in Church History, both from the University of Manchester, England. He has written a number of children's stories and books on biblical subjects and the history of Christianity, as well as works on music and literature. Tim has traveled extensively, particularly in Israel, Turkey and other biblical lands. He lives in South London with his wife and family. Children's book illustrator and author, Steve Smallman has more than twenty-years of experience illustrating books, comics, magazines, licensed products and for television programmes, most notably The Raggy Dolls, and has written over 50 books. Trained at Cambridge College of Art and Technology, his witty illustration style is loved by children. Steve spends a lot of time visiting schools, libraries and festivals, where he often draws pictures for a live audience! He loves to inspire children and adults to enjoy drawing as much as he does. He is married with four children and seven grandchildren.
