CHET MEYERS is professor of humanities at Metropolitan State University, Minnesota, where he also served as coordinator of faculty development for ten years. He is author of Teaching Students to Think Critically (Jossey-Bass, 1986). THOMAS B. JONES is professor of history at Metropolitan State University.
