Author's Bio

Andrew Brown KC has considerable experience of road traffic law from his time at the defence bar, and the six years he spent as an Advocate Depute which included the Jim Clark and Snowman Rallies fatal accident inquiries. He has led before the Supreme Court both for the Crown and the defence and is currently a senior counsel to the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry.
Craig Findlater, advocate, has appeared in all criminal courts in Scotland, including both appeal courts. His reported cases include a number concerning road traffic law. He has acted for the Crown and the defence while at the Bar, and in 2022 was appointed as a part-time Summary Sheriff.
