He has worked for the SQA as a marker, setter, examiner and Principal Assessor for many years. Brian J Logan, a former PT of mathematics, is the author of numerous mathematical books for Scottish students, including How to Pass Higher Mathematics. He has worked for the SQA as a marker, setter and examiner for many years. Mike Smith, a former PT of mathematics, is the author of numerous mathematical books for Scottish students.
