London has seen huge changes since the 1980s. Massive infrastructure projects such as Crossrail/the Elizabeth Line have transformed the cityscape in many parts of the capital. Areas such as Kings Cross and much of the City of London have been rebuilt and the Docklands area has been regenerated. Tim Brown has been photographing London’s changing streets and transport scene since the 1980s. He was a driver on London Underground for many years until retirement and now lives in Essex. He has written one book based on his photographs, The East End in Colour 1980-1990 (Hoxton Mini Press, 2019), and his photographs have been used in exhibitions and other publications.
