Debby Rahmalia is an illustrator and artist based in Indonesia with a passion for storytelling. She graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology. She was encouraged to pursue her dream after she had her first baby and has been illustrating ever since.

She enjoys creating enchanting illustration with whimsy, wit, and charm to provide diverse works that showcase an array of cultures and people. Taking inspiration from the arts, great thought-leaders, and childhood wonder, Debby hopes to entertain young readers and adults with her illustrations.

Her clients include Penguin Random House, Albert Whitman & Co, Roaring Book Press, Oxford University Press, Macmillan Children, Scholastic, Capstone, Ladybird, and many more.

When she’s not drawing, she spends her time reading the book she illustrated to her daughter or singing and dancing with her.
