Media Reviews
Time Team continues to be one of Channel 4's most popular and long-running series. Following the success of The Ultimate Time Team Companion and other books, producer Tim Taylor returns to life on location for this new book to accompany the ninth series. Taylor tells the story of six entirely new digs, at locations all over Great Britain. This is a chance to see what life is really like on location, not only for the production team, but also for the archaeologists who have become celebrities in their own right: Mick Aston, Phil Harding and Carenza Lewis. The book is illustrated throughout with specially commissioned photographs of the new locations, and is a fascinating portrait of life on location as part of the Time Team. Sales of Time Team books have reached almost 140,000 copies, and the new book will no doubt continue that considerable success.
Author's Bio
