Description

Introducing Dilly, the world's naughtiest dinosaur by internationally acclaimed author, Tony Bradman. In his first four stories, Dilly the Dinosaur gets up to all sorts of mischief. First, he decides to hate water and vows never to wash again, until his friend Dixie objects to the very smelly dinosaur he becomes. Then, Dilly lets loose his ear-splitting super-scream which makes his father have a disaster with his sister's birthday cake, but things get even messier when Dilly tries to make a replacement. Dilly gets very confused one day, waiting for it to rain cats and dogs, and finally makes his own very characteristic contribution to the family's house-painting day! Tony Bradman's dinosaur stories are the most fun and reader-friendly books for children you're likely to come across.

Author's Bio

Tony Bradman Tony Bradman was born in 1954 (not during the Jurassic era as his kids have been known to claim!). He went to Malcolm Primary School for Boys, where he played a lot of sport, and Cambridge University... where he did very little at all! After University, he worked in the music press, then became deputy editor of Parents magazine, and soon began reviewing children's books. He started to write his own books for children in 1985 and is probably best known for the popular Dilly the Dinosaur stories. Having sold more than 2 million books worldwide, Tony Bradman has been published in North America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and several European countries (amongst others). Tony currently lives in South London with his long-suffering wife Sally. He has three large, expensive children who love making fun of him! Susan Hellard Susan Hellard was born in Middlesex in 1949. She now lives in a house in North London, which she shares with her Abyssinian cat called Sushi (Susan's favourite food!) and three guinea pigs called Rembrandt, Morandi and Jackson. Susan started her career in illustration when she signed up to a training course to become a graphic designer. She quickly realised she preferred simply doing the 'picture' bit, and it didn't take long for Susan to quickly establish herself as a popular illustrator and designer.
