Author's Bio
Oriah was born in Canada, and spent many years working as a social worker before becoming apprenticed to a Native American Shaman. He gave her the medicine name 'Mountain Dreamer', meaning 'one who is always seeking at pushing at the edge, and can help others to do the same. Oriah Mountain Dreamer leads spirituality workshops and speaks at conferences throughout Canada and the US. Her previous book 'Confessions of as Spiritual Thrillseeker' was published in 1991 and recieved excellent reviews in the specialist press. She is currently reading Philosophy at the University of Toronto.
