Media Reviews
'Her horticultural knowledge is formidable, but she wears her learning lightly...Her approach is always human, always engaging' -- The Spectator 20011201 'The sort of book that you can curl up with on a winter evening and simply enjoy. There's plenty of sound advice and good ideas for gardeners, but it's the personal touch she brings to her writing that is so inviting' -- Choice Magazine 20020101 'The perfect bedside companion' BOOKS OF THE YEAR -- Independent (Weekend Review) 20011201 ' Gardeners and non-gardeners alike will enjoy her work' -- Country Illustrated 20011001 'Looks at various garden topics in a sparky and amusing way' -- Literary Review 20020201 ' Good in Bed is a perfect read in a bed or a railway station or under the swaying palms of Staffordshire' -- Country Life 20010901 'The tone of Ursula Buchan's collected gardening pieces is perfectly pitched...she has turned into one of our most respected and literate garden writers' -- Times Literary Supplement 20011026 'An intriguing picture of the development of gardening during the Eighties and Nineties. Curl up in an armchair with this book - it makes gardening a great spectator sport' -- The Field 20020301
