Description
Shooting pigeons is not easy. Being shot at for generations has taught the woodpigeon a thing or two about survival. Many of the old rules can no longer be applied, so the focus of this book is to inform the reader of many new and different techniques. Lofting, wing flapping, more thoughtful displays of decoys, and a greater adaptability on the part of the sportsman, are all part of this new pattern. This book which draws on a lifetime's experience, covers every aspect of the sport, including the choice of gun and cartridge, deployment of decoys, the construction of hides, and detailed descriptions of the equipment available to pigeon shooters.
