For almost five decades "The Buses Yearbook" and its early guise "Buses Annual", has been appearing like clockwork every August, providing the enthusiast with a fascinating selection of articles and photo-features on a wide range of historic and contemporary subjects. Main features in the new 2008 edition include: independent operations in post-deregulation leeds, building western European buses in Eastern Europe, bus stations, West Midland metrobuses, interim single-deckers; the models produced in the 10 years from the end of production of the Leyland National in 1985 to the introduction of low floor types, low-floor double-deckers - a review of 10 years of the type.
