Victoria Jamieson is the creator of Newbery Honor-winner, Roller Girl. She has lived in Australia, Italy and Canada and is now in the USA.
Omar Mohamed spent his childhood at the Dadaab camp. He devoted everything to taking care of his brother and pursuing his education. He now lives in Pennsylvania, with his wife and 5 children. He founded Refugee Strong, a non-profit that empowers students in refugee camps.
Iman Geddy, the colourist, is an Atlanta-based designer and illustrator who takes inspiration from Islamic architecture and the landscapes of eastern Africa.
