Media Reviews

This delightful short book offer fresh insights on four of the key pillars of Christian spirituality. . . . If you would welcome having yours eyes opened to fresh perspectives on familiar practices, you will be amazed at how many new ideas Williams is able to put into a book of barely 80 pages. * Christianity *
There are light touches of humour and irony, a striking freshness in the language and tantalizing hints of a vast hinterland of learning. * The Tablet *
A work of enormous substance, boiled down to eighty pages of gold dust . . . Buy it and read it. And then read it again. And again. * Church Times *
It is a privilege to enter into the mind of one of the most distinguished theologians of the modern age. . . The style is elegant and lucid, and the book, although written primarily for Christians, will be interesting and helpful to those who are seekers after, rather than finders of, religious faith. * P. D. James *
