Lab Tutor provides a hands-on instruction to the use of laboratory computers for data acquisition, experimental control, and on-line data analysis. It can be used as a primary textbook for a course on laboratory computers, as a supplement in traditional laboratory courses, or as a self-guided tutorial for those learning to use laboratory computers on their own. Lab Tutor covers the basic concepts applicable to any hardware/software system and also includes specific instruction and examples in the use of National Instruments' LabView graphical programming language.
