This vendor-neutral certification benefits the employer by maximizing efficiency in recruiting, hiring, and training and the employee by providing transferable skills and a career path. CompTIA has yet to release exam objectives for the new A+ exams. A beta exam is planned for October, with revised objectives being released in September, and the revisions to the A+ content expected in December of 2000.
