Partnering with The Children's Book Project

AwesomeBooks partnered with The Children's Book Project charity, and we have now donated an incredible 15,000 books to promote literacy among children. Because of our Buy One Give One scheme and your support, we are able to give generously to make a huge difference in the lives of children who may not have had access to literature before, providing them with countless stories, characters, and lessons to explore.

The Children’s Book Project is a registered charity. They work across the UK to redistribute thousands of new and used books to children and their families. They aim to tackle book poverty and to give every child the opportunity to own their own book.

We will be sending thousands of books, so that more children have the opportunity to read and learn, regardless of their circumstances. By doing this, we also reduce waste by ensuring that excess books go to a good home and are put to good use.

We recently had the privilege of meeting the children who benefit from this project, and we were touched to see how much joy receiving a book brought them. Many of them even picked out books for their siblings at home. Help us to spread the joy of reading by learning more about how you can help us on our Buy One Give One mission.
